Dr. Krutika Jain SanghaviGuardian of a 9 yr 5 m old girl7 years agoA. Hello The most important symptom is the child wants to put everything in the mouth or bite on things . Some kids do get a little cranky during this phase . Other symptoms to watch out for are drooling of saliva , fever, loose motions, vomiting, reduced appetite . You can give cold teething rings to bite or you can give a frozen carrot to chew . This will relieve the teething pain in the gums .
