What are the side effects of an over dose of tonoferon ? My baby is two and a half years old.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 2.5 years old and if she is taking iron medicine like tonoferon syrup then she may have loose motions or constipation and black coloured potty but no toxicity even after over dose as body takes only required amount of iron and remaining excess of iron is thrown out by potty so don’t worry

A. any iron supplements should be given according to the need of the child because iron male lead to constipation as well as iron overdose leading to gastritis and loose motion or constipation
