POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month2 months agoA. At 7 months old, you can start offering your baby a variety of soft, mashed, and semi-solid foods along with breast milk or formula. Good options include mashed fruits like banana, apple puree, or chikoo; cooked and mashed vegetables like carrot, pumpkin, and potato; well-cooked rice or moong dal khichdi; and iron-rich foods like ragi porridge. You can also offer soft boiled egg yolk (if no allergy), curd, and small amounts of ghee in food. Introduce one new food at a time and watch for allergies. Avoid salt, sugar, honey, and cow or buffalo milk at this age. Feed 2–3 small meals per day and continue breastfeeding or formula.
