usually baby's weight depends mostly on her birth weight, hence, we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year as per birth weight. small deviation is absolutely fine.
feed variety of homecooked foods like smashed khichdi, smashed dal or paratha, pancake, porridge, veg upma, poha, sheera , soft idli, thin dosa, nuts paste, etc and use ghee in meal preparations.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours
maintain good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom. As ur baby is 11 months old, u can give three proper meals in a day and two snacks in between to ur baby. Give egg, ghee, dry fruits, paneer, cheese, avocado, sweet potato, rice, potatoes etc to ur baby. These are some of the weight gaining food. Take care
