Q.

We started giving cow’s milk to our baby from her 1yr of age .now she s 18months old.Is cow’s milk safe to baby.

A. Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes. Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit cc . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heavy protein of cow's milk .

Yup Cows milk is healthy buffaloes milk is healthy all the milk that you believe in healthy can be given to the child after the age of 12 months itself so now I am going to definitely advise you to go ahead with giving buffaloes milk to the child as that’s much more healthier for a child according to the
