Q.

We live in rural area and the govt: health worker supplied zinc sulphate tablet for my 17 months baby for the course of 14 days.Should I use it?

A. Zinc is given in diarrhea Zinc helps in regaining appetite and also helps in restoring intestinal epithelium integrity in diarrhea so used to prevent recurrent diarrheal attacks but regarding government supply only your Paediatrician may be able to advice.

A. it is always advisable to consult with your pediatrician before you induce any medicine to your baby

A. no...avoid ...as not necessarily your baby need it..zinc is guvebif baby has digestion issues
