Q.

we have started introducing semi solids for my baby like pureed fruits and vegetables. As per doctor's advice we are giving semi solids 4 times a day and in between we are giving formula as she is formula fed.But she is not feeding properly the semi solids and her frequency of pooping has also increased to 3-4 times a day.So can someone suggest if this is normal and yes there is no considerable amount of weight gain for her this week.

A. hi well , usually it is normal to get Change in stool frequency and texture after introducing semisoild food. so as such no need to worry. and if your child looks happy and active , showing no discomfort then no need to worry about it much. just give Healthy food items like boiled Mashed potato , sweet potato , rice , homemade cerelac etc to your child which help in Healthy weight gain
