we gave 10th week vaccine yesterday afternoon. giving her t28 drops as suggested by doctor. but it's been 1.5 days.. she still developed fever. how long the side effect lasts and how long can I give t28 drops.

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4s times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fevers usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
