We are using mineral water (like kinley, Aquaguard bottles) for my child to mix in formula powder, and for his drinking also. We are since his birth. Can we use like that? Or is it harmful to use mineral water? my child is 6.5months old now.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist8 years agoA. mineral water may be used if the TDS or mineral content of water available in your area is high which affects the taste. mineral water should also be safe from pathogens. best way is to boil the regular purified water for 20 minutes to remove the pathogens and use for baby

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr old boy8 years agoA. gradually start using the regular aquaguard filter water. boil ot and then cool it and use it for tye formula. if you use mineral water all the time it may not help in building immunity. however if you are out or travelling then use mineral water.
