#ParentingClinic #asktheexpert (WARNING-POOP PIC attached)hi, I'm a mom of 9 month 19 days old baby girl..my daughter had an upset stomach for last 2-3 days, I gave her watermelon juice since she was not drinking much water to keep her hydrated but I observed her poop was red.i have given watermelon before but it was not this red,I'm afraid..i'm not able to differentiate between the watermelon poop and blood poop.im attaching pics of her diaper. please help if you can

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. stool can turn red after eating beetroot or watermelon but you should definitely consult your paediatrician and take your child with you for proper examination. avoid juices before age of one

Nihita mittalMom of a 8 yr 4 m old boy5 years agoA. good evening definitely does not look simply because of watermelon it looks like there is blood in the motion if it is possible for you should try to visit your doctor for checkup avoid giving watermelon over the next couple of days to the baby
