Q.

Vinushya is having diarrhea for past 13 days. we consulted doctor and after taking medicine her poop has turned to green in colour(still loose). She also got cold and cough. We stopped giving medicine and poop turned to normal colour(still loose). Also we see white particle in her poop. We are confused on how to proceed further . Any advice/consultation is welcomed.

A. Vinushya has fever and it got stopped after giving paracetamol drops suggested by doctor. when can we expect the diarrhoea to stop?? she has been acting normal and no fatigue. She drinks milk normally too

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptoydmatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever thanh it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
