Q.

vanakkam doctor, my baby is 2 months old... my breast milk is not enough for her so doctor advised me to give dexolac hi-kal formula milk for her... her birth weight is 3.2 kg, after 2 months her weight is 3.83 kg...doctor pls suggest me formula fed is safe or not... what can i do now..

A. baby is not gaining weight properly it is always advisable to give the milk to the baby only from Mother afterwards it is insufficient you can do sum formula milk .

A. hi yes you may offer it. but as mother's milk is best food for a child try to offer plenty of breastfeeds. it help to increase breastmilk also. mother can also take leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk for this.
