Q.

Vanakkam doctor, My 1 year 3 month old boy baby is suffering with fever from yesterday. We consulted the doctor the temperature is 104.4 he suggested amoxicillin and paracetamol 250. Mind night he got shivering also and he is not used to take food and water properly, Continuously crying ,not even getting proper sleep even from the night.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like uiibuprofen and mefenamic acid prfeparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

Hello Siri 10 4°F is an extremely high fever I was just like to tell you that if your child is having such a high fever it’s better to go ahead with an admission in the hospital because of the brain fever which is the brain of the child and it is going to be quite a mess overhead with a consultation with your doctor to advise you with some medicine that is going to at least help in immediately reducing down the
