ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. yes of course Give khichdi, daliya, upma, curd rice all in mashed form. add veggies, give fruit purees. better to give more fruits, veggies ,instead of sweets as children don't have much likes and dislikes at this age. so they accept variety of flavors.

Shreya MitraMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy6 years agoA. Yes. A child is okay to eat everything after 6 months and there is no restriction in any type of dal. But each dal must be introduced following a 3 day period where nothing new is introduced in those 3 days. This helps to rule out any form of allergies to dal or any food that’s introduced .
