Q.

Today my daughter is two months old. I feed her every 3-4 hours, but sometimes she sleep more than 5 hours so I use to get up her and then feed. From two days I m noticing that when she wakes up for feed she take only 5 minutes then she play around 1 hour and then she starts crying, so again I feed her but she is not latching when she become drowsy then she latch..So why she is not taking feed while awake? In sleep condition she sucks slowly and take 20-30 minutes..I don't know whether her tummy is full or not because slow sucking is there.. please suggest is this normal to feed in sleep?

A. Hello mom when in sleep mode their is no active feeding its only latching which babies generally love to do it. so not to worry, while feeding talk to the baby and maintain an eye contact so that they are actively feeding
