Q.

Today I've visited doctor and done with CBP and CRP of my baby due to fever and all the reports are normal but the fever continues even after 2 doses of paracetamol and 1 dose of antibiotics. how long does it take for viral fever to reduce?

A. now it is fever usually take 4 to 5 days of time to go off completely. hence you have to continue the antibiotic dose and the paracetamol if the fever persist. make sure it does not become a very high grade fever.. keep your child hydrated sufficiently and continue serving him some liquid diet.
