A. It's important to understand the not all congenital anomalies can be detected by ultrasound. Ultrasound doctors have a list of conditions to look out for from head to toe. Some conditions are treatable once your baby is born. Rarely, though, a condition may be so serious that a baby can't survive. If the condition is treatable, it will help your doctor to know in advance, so she can make sure your baby has the right care as soon as he's born. Some conditions are easier to spot than others, and some are hard to see at all. Most of the conditions on the list are very rare. Some conditions, including heart defects and bowel obstructions, may not be seen until later in your pregnancy. Having an anomaly scan will most likely rule out all these conditions, as the vast majority of babies are born healthy.https://www.babycenter.in/a557390/anomaly-scan-tiffa-or-ultrasound-level-ii-scan
