Q.

This evening my 3 month old had a cut on her finger while cutting the nails with a nail cutter and I applied betadine ointment on it. I am not sure whether she puts that finger inside mouth or not, but I have seen her trying to suck the finger on which the ointment is applied. Is there anything to worry about? Should I need to take an appointment with the doctor?

A. I don’t think so it would be a problem you must not have applied in a lot of quantity so it won’t be a problem if you see any kind of discomfort to your child then yes you should visit your doctor but otherwise I do not think so it’s going to make any difference
