there is very little mucus in my baby boy's potty, he was suffering from stomach infection few months before, at that time his potty is bloody with much for about 2 weeks and after that almost every day he has mucus in his potty. so i want to know what could be the reason behind this. almost after 5 months he still have some mucus in his potty not always but most of time.

They could be two things if the child is generally passing motion with mucus and if you’re giving any medicine for cough to relieve congestion then mucus is coming out that way otherwise it can again be associated with stomach infection so it has been constantly happening I suggest you to get a stool test done for your child
