#thegynaecologist I was planning to avoid pregnancy so I need some clarity. Copper t or mirena in both of them which is best one ? With mirena we will gain weight?

I pill or IUCD as both are good options it’s just sometimes the copper T lead to period fluctuations with heavy flow or pain in lower abdomen as it varies from patient to patient but taking i pill for long duration is also recommended as sometimes to conceive next time it create problem

Both are good at their respective places if it suits your body because we have seen women suffering with weight gain or hormonal imbalance after getting them inserted into the body so both are good but if only suits you then you can go ahead with either of them
