POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month2 months agoA. Yes, it's usually normal if your baby is not pooping daily, especially if they are breastfed. Breast milk is easily digested, and sometimes babies use up almost all of it, leaving little waste. Some healthy babies may poop once every 2–3 days, or even once a week.
However, if your baby:
Seems uncomfortable or cries while passing stool Has a hard belly or hard stool Shows signs of pain or bloating
Then it could be constipation, and it's best to consult your pediatrician. As long as your baby is feeding well, gaining weight, and the poop is soft when it does come, there's usually no need to worry.
