Q.

thank u sir bed time we r use prophylaxis antibiotic.(cefaclor) . 1.8 yrs use 6 ml syrup 125mg/5ml but dose was change two days back 500 mg capsule it's safe dose or not sir

A. there are syrup medications available and you can always ask the pediatrician to shift to syrup based medicine. because in capsule or tablet formulation will have to break the medicine and give it to the child so better to shift to syrup formulation and you can discuss this with your doctor

A. Hello, your baby boy is 3.4 years old and if he is not having any infection then why are you giving him an antibiotic and if you want to give it as prophylaxis then you must see which infection you want to prevent

A. it is very important to meet the doctor as well as remain in contact with the doctor whenever you are making changes in the medication and your doctor will tell you the dosage for the the problem

A. Hello sir The dosage is prescribed by ur doctor. So u can give it. There is no problem in that. Follow ur doctors advice and give the full course of treatment so that baby is fine. Take care
