Temperature was 98.5 f is it normal

ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hi, yes it’s normal, try to avoid medication for fever, give paracetamol only if fever is more than 99.5 or your baby is dull and sleeping all the time. Paracetamol can be given every 4-6 hours if needed. Can try wiping the baby with a warm water cloth.

If the temperature from the armpits is 98. 5° I would suggest you to keep your baby covered in light clot and also make sure that you are not taking your baby in hot temperature and then you will see there be a change no need to give any medicine right now
