ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hi , rickets is due to vitamin D deficiency, it is seen in 40 % of infants. Most of the infants have Sub clinical deficiency. Signs are broad wrist, delayed teeth,rib cage abnormalities, bow legs.
