then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curd, paneer.
consistency of food should be like that of ghee
avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups. Squeeze lemon in baby's food for iron absorption.
start with 3-4 tsp and then about half katori per meal about 2 to 3 meals per day.
give 1 food for about 3-6 days for baby to accept and to see how baby tolerates it then introduce another new food
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. At six months offer purées. At seven to nine months try mashed or minced food, (not purées) and be sure to include some lumps. Use a fork to mash foods and not a blender so that the texture is more lumpy. You can also start on finger foods after seven months.
