A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symxvptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. good evening it is never a advisable to use any medicine on your own like that I would recommend that you should try to visit your doctor for a proper check up and then you can give prescribed medicine
