Q.

Sqw small black thread like wormy looking thing in my baby's poo after feeding banana? Are those worms or just fiber from the banana still wondering!!

A. Hi, it could be the seeds of the banana or the finer of banana that has changed colour. Worms are usually white in colour. And usually move. If in doubt can get a stool microscopy. That will confirm if any worms are present.

A. Hello, yes it's banana..If you mash up a whole banana look closely and you will see similar fibers you are finding in your baby's stool, So there is nothing to worry about unless the poop is bright green or bloody

A. They might not be worms. Just observe the stool closely. Stop giving banana and then check if suspected then stop giving it. Try giving other fruit purees like steamed apple.

A. yes you are right there that's if not want this all the Threads of the fibres coming out from the banana because baby for not able to digest everything properly so the food just come out as it is through the pottt

A. Yes this is normal in babies after being fed banana they have black thread like things in the stools so don't worry if the baby is active and healthy otherwise and not cranky and pees properly and can continue to give banana to the baby
