HomeQuestions & AnswersSometimes, especially at the beginning, my baby’s stool is clay-colored. Otherwise, it is usually normal. At times, the stool is completely normal, and at other times it appears fully clay-colored or greenish.
The texture also varies—sometimes normal, sometimes sticky or watery.
This clay-colored stool has occurred three times in the past month: two times it was fully clay-colored and once partially clay-colored.
My baby has been given albendazole also that month and is on daily calcium and iron supplements. He also had a cold recently.
His activity levels are normal, and there are no issues with feeding or behavior. Is this normal?
