Q.

Sometimes, especially at the beginning, my baby’s stool is clay-colored. Otherwise, it is usually normal. At times, the stool is completely normal, and at other times it appears fully clay-colored or greenish. The texture also varies—sometimes normal, sometimes sticky or watery. This clay-colored stool has occurred three times in the past month: two times it was fully clay-colored and once partially clay-colored. My baby has been given albendazole also that month and is on daily calcium and iron supplements. He also had a cold recently. His activity levels are normal, and there are no issues with feeding or behavior. Is this normal?

A. Look if you’re giving something which is dominated in the colour that that could be a reason it can also be associated with formula milk if you’re giving any to the child but as of now it doesn’t seem like a problem is your child is active and healthy there is absolutely no problem
