Some weird sound my baby makes with his mouth closed. Is he teething? What are the signs of teething? What preventive measures can i use to lessen the teething pain?

A. Give chilled teether that is Bpa free toys, Wodden toys, chilled teething ring can be soothing on a baby's gums, give baby a clean washcloth to chew on,dip clean cloth in boiled and cooled water and then put it in freezer for 5-10 minutes. when baby chew it, will get relief as cooling subsides the pain sensation. Hope these helps. Keep baby hydrated. Also give easy Chewing foods like upma, kichidi, also you can give mashed fruits and veggies. Massage gums with cut clean fingers. You can also give cold carrot stick to bite. Make sure to watch baby else it may cause choking
