Q.

sir my son 8 months.he suffering with pneumonia.doctor starts antibiotics injections.ofter one week completed injections now he is ok but fever coming doctor 3 days nundi fever coming we consulted doctor.that time not there fever doctor say he is ok .fever 100 degree .some times body is cool.paracetamol drops also use sir but not cure sir .feeding good .plz advice me sir .fever

A. just feed well. wear comfortable clothing. do sponging with water at normal temperature, not too cold. it helps in taking temperature down. do not give medications without prescriptions. consult your doctor in case of persistent fever, poor oral intake, excessively sleepy child .

A. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
