sir My daughter's navel hasn't gone in yet i showed the local doctor doctor said it is hernia and after 1 or half year it will get better automatically but swollen around the navel and hard to touch please suggest something

A. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.y with growing age it regresses and goes inside v it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated. meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required
