Q.
sir my breastmilk is not that good.. bt my baby survive on it in the day time bt in night I have to give him formula milk.. In day time when he wakes from sleep he suck breastmilk for about 5-10min only and then he sleeps for another 2 hrs.. bt as I said my breastmilk supply is not that good so how will I know his tummy is full or not.. Or does he sleep hungry stomach ??

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr old boy2 years agoA. I have tried everything and still trying to increase my breastmilk supply bt it seems nothing is working bt still I am working on it.. I am taking proper diet including fruits and green veggies alongwith milk.. Even I took medicine for this bt still it's not that good.

Shweta mittalMom of a 4 yr 6 m old girl2 years agoA. Hello mam...don't worry if ur baby takes ur breast milk for 10mins n sleeps for 2 hr as he feels full..baby cannot sleep hungry...when baby is hungry he will show u a sign of hunger such as crying n sucking finger.
Take good diet of vegetables n fruits as it helps to increase breastmilk..take care of urself n your baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors.
A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with ra proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari .
Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure mosst of the time .
