Q.

sir my baby is over 9 months.. since the past few days my baby is straining while passing motion.. there's no blood in motion.. she doesn't cry while passing motion either.just strains..Is there something I can do about it? we are giving her as much water as we can

A. Hello, common cause of blood in an infant’s stool is a slight anal tear (fissure) from baby straining with the passage of the stool- give soft fibrous diet. with sufficient fluids, bm and water.
