sir, My baby is 3 months old. After her umbilical cord falls 2 months ago, Some liquid, with no smell comes from her navel. No smell at all. I cleaned it with alcohol based sanitizer. Please advise

A. Hello,you should not use sanitizer for this ,as it's very sensitive area and alcohol based sanitizers makes very dry and it's not good for skin,if such thing happens then there are ointments which should be applied on belly button,so please never apply such harsh thi gs on your babies sensitive skin.

A. If The liquid is still coming out continuously without any smell then you still can you check with your paediatrician bugger certain times kids can easily get umbilical hernia which we do not realise so it is better that you get it checked to so that at least you’ll have more clarity about it
