sir, my 4.5month girl baby suffering gas trable and she passing stool with mucous and also having foule smell.frequecy of poop ,3-5time per day. not too loose tool and not always jelly .what may be the reason? she passing stool mostly during that time of breast feeding, passing Bright yellow color stool

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, firstly make sure there is a gap of two hours between each feed. And burp your baby well after every feed. Do not feed more than 25 minutes. If you are using bottle to give top bread then make sure to sterilise the bottle after every use else it will lead to infection.
The stool should not be watery and there should not be mucus. Foul smell indicates infection. So please consult your doctor and get baby examined.Write Your Answer Here
