Q.

Sir/Mam ,Can we give cow's milk around 6 th month for weaning??

A. Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes. Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heavy proftein of cow's milk .To start with cow's milk should be given than gradually you can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of of two .

A. No not before the age of 13 months that’s not the right age as of now to introduce it to the child you can go ahead any time after the age of 13 months because after that only any kind of animal or full cream pack it can be introduced to theWrite Your Answer Here
