Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet thre doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. There's no 'normal' when it comes to how often babies poo – breastfed babies will sometimes go several days, or even a week without having a poo (this is more common in babies aged 6 weeks or older). You'll quickly get used to your baby's bowel movements, so you'll be able to tell what's normal for them.
