Sir, if my baby laughs too much, hiccups are coming, is there any problem with that?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. hiccups in big children usually occur due to excessive laughing, belching, acidity as well as gas in the stomach and intestine of the child.
it is important to give plenty of water to drink as well as easily digestible food made at home.x
diversion of the child also helps.
it is self limiting problem and will decrease but if it is occurring again and again then it is advisable to complete a course of antacid. x

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. There is no problem on this. Please massage baby stomach with BabyHug coconut oil clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can also apply hing water on baby stomach. Also do some cycling leg exercises of the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Please make the baby burp after every feed. Mother should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal.
