You should develop a sleeping routine for your baby, take the baby to the room early, make the bedding properly, change the baby's clothes, dim the lights, play some soothing music, sleep near the baby and make your baby sleep, apply some soothing lotion to the baby's body, also hair oil and lightly massage it the baby's head.

you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into.
if the growth of the child is proper do do not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time
you can increase the physical activity during the daytime as well as avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time

bring your child in room before one hour of sleep time .
use dim lights
keep the environment calm and dark while sleeping.
keep minimum interaction with your child.
avoid to allow watching TV mobile or any other gadgets before one hour of sleep time.
