Q.

since three days my 4years old child is having blister in his hand foot and ulcers in mouth .not able to eat and swallow...

A. thank you for your response......i have consulted a paediatrician.docyor has prescribed medicines but mouth ulcers seem to increase day by day as my child doesn't allow me to apply zytee ointment.is there any other alternative

A. hand and foot and mouth disease is a self limiting viral infection. commonly seen is viral red eruptions on the skin mainly on the joints of the body and on the bums and around the mouth adnd there are ulcers in the oral cavity. only sametomatic treatment is given for fever as well as for paidn and itching and oral ulcers and the disease usually resolves maximum by 1 to 1 and half weeks. meet your doctor for more information regarding this disease
