Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine basically protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children with less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .To protect child from virus and infections it is necessary to provide proper diet and nutrition and avoiding iron deficiency
At most hygiene and safety protocol is a must
Additional protection is also provided by various vaccines
And the most important is avoiding exposure to any infectious agent by avoiding individuals who are already suffering from the infectionfrequently passing of motions after meals is generally seen and normal in children unless it is associated with some chronic infection like amoebiasis or may be indigestion or could be habitual also .so it needs proper assessment to rule out the cause, but if the smell, colour and consistency of the miotion is moreorless normal and there is no other problem like fever or vomiting you should not worry for now .
you can give pro HDbiotic enterogermina probiotic 2 times a day and consult doctor for proper treatment if problem continues.
