should clarithromycin be kept in refrigerator?my pharmacist has advised me to do so?

Author of questionMom of a 10 yr 4 m old girl6 years agoA. thank you .. my pharmacist told to keep it refrigerated but it was not written on the leaflet and moreover I read somewhere that clarithromycin oral suspension should not be refrigerated I have refrigerated. is there any problem?

Dr Shradha shikhareMom of a 10 yr 2 m old boy6 years agoA. hello mom yes , any antibiotic medicine which is reconstituted by adding water into it is better to keep in refrigerator. it can remain in good state for 4 to 5 days only.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaFather of a 12 yr 9 m old boy6 years agoA. if you have reconstituted any medicine it should be kept below room temperature so you should keep the reconstituted medicine in refrigerator and for further guidance consult your pediatrician regarding this
