Q.

should clarithromycin be kept in refrigerator?my pharmacist has advised me to do so?

A. thank you .. my pharmacist told to keep it refrigerated but it was not written on the leaflet and moreover I read somewhere that clarithromycin oral suspension should not be refrigerated I have refrigerated. is there any problem?

A. hello mom yes , any antibiotic medicine which is reconstituted by adding water into it is better to keep in refrigerator. it can remain in good state for 4 to 5 days only.

A. if you have reconstituted any medicine it should be kept below room temperature so you should keep the reconstituted medicine in refrigerator and for further guidance consult your pediatrician regarding this
