Q.

She is now 15 months old but still she does not respond to her name. When we call her Ananya she gives no reaction is this normal at this stage

A. it is important to meet the doctor to get the child examined. milestones assessment of the child needs to be done which will tell whether the childs is having any development delay or not. the child will dbe assessed for four major milestones that is 1.gross motor milestone 2.fine motor milestone 3.social milestone 4.language milestone.

A. If you notice your child is not responding to their name (or very rarely) by their first birthday, it's extremely important that you bring this up to your child's pediatrician and call your local early intervention program.
