s 7month old baby fever temperature is 100.1 and can I give syrup ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. yes you can give paracetamol to the child For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi yes ,you should give calpol drops as per your doctor's prescription. at home ,keep your child well hydrated if there is no cold and cough ,give sponge bath to reduce the temperature. dress your child lightly
