Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitisgy also so it needs au proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

You have to get it checked with your doctor maybe your child is having some kind of an allergy which is why this problem is not subsiding or is getting aggravated every now and then a proper allergy test would be required to know what is the situation and accordingly for the treatment can be selected
