Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warme water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

You can give steam to the child that is going to help you can continue with any good antiallergic as per your doctors advice yet if you see the problem is subsiding then it maybe due to some kind of an allergy then you’ll have to go for allergy associated treatment for your child
