Q.

Respected Dr. Can you please tell me about this:My 4month old baby's BCG vaccinated place is like this till now., by touching there, a spongy feeling. And today some drops of blood came from there. Is it okay?

A. The BCG injection site is supposed to swell up get filled up with pus and eventually it will burst all by itself and heal ultimately leaving a scar and that is how it is supposed to happenWrite Your Answer Here

A. if there's fever show him. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

A. Its Not normal I think your child has got an infection in that area which is why this is happening you please get a check with your doctor little bit of swelling is normal but if you see that there is the blood also coming out of it and it could be due to infection
