Respected Doctor My 7 plus month old baby is suffering from constipation. Not pooping timely when she passes stool it becomes so hard that she cries badly. pls help us to help her to overcome the this problem. Thanking you. yours sincerely

can u pls tell us what are enzymes that can be given to my baby and what proportion to subdue constipation problem, if possible.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can ghjyive bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
