Q.

Recently, I was tested positive with covid (37 weeks pregnant) and post that body itching has increased. not sure if both are correlated and if not what could be the reason for increased itchiness all over the body?

A. Details of clinical examination and associated symptoms are required to find the reason for itching, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

A. Itching is common in pregnancy. Usually it's thought to be caused by raised levels of certain chemicals in the blood, such as hormones. Later, as your bump grows, the skin of your tummy (abdomen) is stretched and this may also feel itchy.
