Q.
Raghav have fever & cold from last night. & his doctor out of town. Give me remedy

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and accordibng to thec type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

use Nasoclear saline nasal drops..
use Babyhug cold rapid relief baby rub..
fever monitor at regular intervals you can give calpol Or crocin drops..
keep baby well hydrated..
